Cierra and I go so far back you’d have to squint to see it, and even then you may not see the beginning of this story. I’m talking excessive amounts of glitter eye shadow, Backstreet Boys bumpin’, stick straight bangs, and more bathroom mirror selfies than I’d ever like to admit. I’d share a few here, but I know she has her own share of embarrassing photos of me that I’d rather not see the light of day. Being as close as we were, it should have come as no surprise when we both entered into pretty serious relationships at the same time. By January 2014 we were both very much engulfed by the love bubble and it seemed these relationships were going to go the distance.

The night of January 31st, 2014, minutes after Bridger and I had gotten engaged we returned to the parking lot from ice skating and I picked up my phone to start the endless phone calls and text messages and I had one unread message from Cierra simply stating “Dude.” So I replied with a photo of me and that sparkly new ring on my finger. To my surprise, my announcement was returned with a picture of her own, and a brand new sparkly ring on her finger! Life is funny sometimes. 365 days in a year and we get engaged on the same night.

Cierra and Dylan are now celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary with 5 year anniversary photos!! Confused? Let me explain. I say this because they originally reached out for 5 year anniversary photos and we finally did them. So happy 5th, 6th, and 7th anniversaries to Cierra and Dylan!! It’s okay it took so long cause now we could include Lundy!! Thank you so much for spending some time with me I had such a wonderful time with your little family! Let’s not wait 7 years to do this again!!
